Virginia had already worked with Richard Jobson for his solo material so it was only natural that she was drafted in for the reactivation of The Skids - which included this single taken from the album Joy.

Russell Webb would later work with Virginia on her own musical projects, including her 1983 debut album From Gardens Where We Feel Secure.
